FAQS
-
Golden Cor offers spaces for women to reconnect with themselves through somatic practice, nervous system education, movement, breath, reflection and embodied exploration. This includes group offerings such as Nectar, as well as more personalised 1:1 support and occasional workshops and experiences.
-
My work is for women who are ready to feel more connected to themselves and the way they live. Often, they are capable, caring and used to holding a lot, but are wanting a different relationship with their body, energy, needs and inner world.
You don't need to be at breaking point to benefit from this work. You might simply sense that something needs to change, or that you're ready for more space, presence, aliveness or trust in yourself.
-
It depends on the kind of support and depth you're looking for. Nectar offers an ongoing, shared space for practice, reflection and connection, while 1:1 work offers more personalised support and space to explore what is happening specifically for you.
If you're unsure, you're welcome to reach out. You don't need to have it all figured out before we begin.
-
My approach is experiential, body-based and grounded in both clinical knowledge and lived practice. Rather than simply talking about change, we explore how you experience yourself through your body, nervous system, emotions, patterns, needs and everyday life.
There is space for slowing down and rest, but also for capacity, vitality, creativity, expression and meeting life more fully.
-
No. I am a qualified physiotherapist with a background in neuroscience and clinical practice, and my work through Golden Cor sits outside traditional healthcare and psychological therapy.
My work is educational, somatic and supportive in nature. It is not a substitute for medical care, psychotherapy or mental health treatment when those forms of support are needed.
-
Not at all. Everything is designed to be approachable whether you're completely new to somatic work or already have an established practice.
There is no particular way you need to know how to move, breathe or be in your body. Curiosity is enough.
-
Yes. Many aspects of Golden Cor are available online, so you can participate from wherever you are in the world. Live offerings are scheduled around Australian time, with recordings available where applicable.
-
My work is generally centred around ongoing spaces rather than one-off sessions, as I believe meaningful change often benefits from time, practice and integration.
There are also occasional workshops, seasonal experiences and other ways to work together throughout the year.
-
Absolutely. You don't need to know exactly what you're looking for before getting in touch.
You can simply tell me a little about where you are and what you're noticing, and we can work out together whether one of my offerings feels like the right fit.
-
You can explore the current offerings on the website or get in touch directly if you'd like some guidance.
If you're ready to begin, follow the invitation for the offering that speaks to you. If you're still unsure, send me a message. There's no need to have the right words.
